Regular sweeping or vacuuming keeps loose dirt from scratching the surface. A robot vacuum is an excellent complement to manual cleaning for maintaining LVT floors.
Damp mop with a manufacturer-approved cleaner as needed. LVT's waterproof construction means you can use more water than with hardwood or laminate, but avoid pooling water along edges and walls.
Use felt pads under furniture legs and protective mats under rolling office chairs. While LVT is dent-resistant, concentrated weight over time can leave impressions in WPC products.
LVT does not require waxing, polishing, or refinishing. The factory-applied wear layer provides lasting protection. If a plank becomes severely damaged, individual pieces can be replaced without disturbing the surrounding floor.
