Laminate Maintenance

Sweep or vacuum regularly using a soft-bristle broom or vacuum without a beater bar. Dust and grit can scratch the protective surface over time if not removed promptly.

Clean with a damp (not wet) mop using a laminate-specific cleaner. Avoid excessive water, which can seep into seams and cause swelling or warping. Never use steam mops on laminate flooring.

Wipe up spills immediately to prevent moisture from penetrating the seams. While water-resistant laminate offers better protection, standing water should always be avoided.

Use felt pads under furniture legs and avoid dragging heavy objects across the floor. Entry mats help capture dirt and moisture before they reach the laminate surface.
